And it’s a wrap!!

Cycled from LA to SF against the wind, the fires and the heat wave!! 520 miles in 7 days, cycling 6 to 10 hours per day, 66 to 97 miles per day.

What an adventure: Beautiful landscapes, nice cities and country side, nice encounters with strangers, great sunrises and sunset, visits with old friends and new ones.

Loved in particular the SLO to Big Sur day. Also loved the little know town of Cayucos.

Didn’t like at all the Motel 6 in Lompoc. I wish I had known it was where a federal penitentiary was located. Haha.

Pretty Santa Barbara, beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains.

Physically challenging but not impossible. Easy logistic. Low cost (I like that 😉). Regular aluminum bike, a few bags, nothing fancy. No flat tires or any technical issue, lucky for that.

I carried a DRONE and a GOPRO the whole way. Piloted the drone on my own as I cycled! Can’t wait to show you the film!! It will be amazing.
